To provide our quality services to Medical Marihuana Licensed Producers in line with Health Canada’s cGMP Pharmaceutical regulation, there is mandatory information required prior to commencement of providing technical services and consultation. It is our mandate to keep all of our clients’ information and communication confidential and our clients need to have an overview of our controls, practices, and requirements for testing and custody of their materials or products.
The following items will be delineated in our Confidentiality Disclosure Agreement (CDA) and Quality Assurance Agreement (QAA) which must be in place prior to providing technical consultation and receiving samples for analysis:
QCL Quality Compliance Laboratories Inc. has their own validated analytical procedures which clients are at liberty to use for their products if they have none of their own. QCL can also recommend the minimum testing to comply with Health Canada requirements, if required, in order to assist clients in establishing their processes.
Our goal is to make our client’s process both successful and smooth in a speedy and cost effective manner. The requested information provides the venue to make this happen as it establishes readiness to proceed and identifies areas where more information may be necessary.
Cannabis is a controlled substance so it must be transported, received, tracked and stored in compliance with Health Canada guidelines for controlled drugs. QCL has procedures and security in place to comply with these guidelines. Our preferred process for disposal of controlled drugs is to request client authorized return of excess post-testing sample through chain of signature courier to the client for inclusion in their disposal process.
